The only time I approve of any beverage or merchandise from Starbucks is under three conditions:

1) If you have a gift card from the holidays/birthday/etc. (free)
2) If they are giving out samples (free)
3) If you buy the merchandise at a thrift store...two for 79 cents (nearly free)

Otherwise, I steer clear of the $4 cup of joe, even if it is tasty.
