It's touching when someone sees something that makes them think of you. For my roommate, it's this mug. Thank you so much :)
I've made great use of the ginormous thang.

pure.

I really appreciate it when companies put out a product the suites everyone, like what Physicians Formula is doing with their make-up. They have a whole line of high quality certified organic make-up. I just bought their organic mascara- after reading up on all the nasty stuff other companies put into their cosmetics (and especially mascaras). This Physicians Formula mascara is comparable to professional mascara; it comes off easily and creates full and pigmented lashes. But for women like me who are really curious, and slightly neurotic about what they put on their bodies and in their bodies, it's perfect.

All of their organic wear is 100% free of  harsh chemicals, synthetic preservatives, parabens, synthetic fragrances, genetically modified organisms, and animal cruelty.

SO, you can feel good about wearing this! Because I do, yippey!

All I have to say is, I'm a believer. This make-up will change the way you think of all make-up, and you will love it. It's completely natural mineral make-up that's good for your face and has a flawless finish: foundation and blush in "giddy pink"

I also recommend:
Aveeno Nourish + Soothe shampoo and conditioner. It's made with peppermint and lavender, so not only is it great for your hair, it also soothes dry winter scalp.

Welp I'm done being a product review rep for the night. I should be asleep.

a gentleman caller

"Whatever you need to make you feel like you've been the one behind the wheel, The sunrise is just over that hill, the worst is over.
Whatever I said to make you think, that love is the religion of the weak
This morning we love like weaklings, the worst is over."

Yes, the worst is almost over. And by worst, I mean final assignments, papers, quizzes and tests of the semester. Without my seemingly endless to-do list, I wouldn't have been able to keep myself organized.
But I'm doing okay! I only have two more weeks to get through before some much needed R&R.
But I've been thinking about what I am thankful for, because I've been somewhat cut off from the outside world since Thanksgiving.
I am happy:
I am happy that I have a warm apartment that I can call my own, with my own room and everything in it. I like the way it smells like "winter", and it literally does because that's the Wallflower scent I chose this month. HA. It smells like freshly fallen snow, shimmering pine, crisp bay leaf, red cinnamon and warm winter woods.
I'm thankful for my boyfriend, who is amazing and caring and wonderful. He keeps me warm through the holidays, inside and out. I love him and I love being in the company of his family. Awesome people.
I enjoy the company of my roommates, who are all three very different, quirky, and fun. It makes being home more enjoyable.
I'm glad that I like the things I like. I'm glad I am interested in the things I've chosen to participate in (crafts, eating organic, scarf hunting, farmer's markets, lazy nights in, watching movies, cooking)...and I'm glad I found someone who likes some of the same things I like.
I'm thankful that I have two jobs, both of which I enjoy very much (or as much as you can honestly enjoy working).
I love my dogs, I love my mom, I love my brother, I love my sister, and everyone else in my extended family. I hope they can stay healthy and happy for years to come.

I found this mug/loose leaf tea diffuser at The Merc for $6. It comes with a little mesh diffuser that just sits inside of the mug and steeps your tea until you are ready to drink. It's a nice little addition to my mug collection. Only now, I can enjoy jasmine loose pearls instead of tea bags.
