I ate lunch here today in downtown Leavenworth. It's a cute little shop owned by Kelly Littmann and serves all natural, homegrown ingredients and fresh dishes. The food is great, and the atmosphere is elegant. I recommend coming here for lunch, or simply for a slice of homemade pie, or fresh soup, or cupcakes, or cake, or coffee, or....

I've tried to find myself for years, but I'm already found. I always asked myself, who am I? What do I really like to do? It's so different from your average college student's activities. I'm really just a big nerd. I'll challenge you to Cranium any day, and probably win.

It's simple.

And everything else will fall into place. There's nothing like being yourself.

I cheated

This morning instead of brewing coffee from the coffee maker, I opted for a faster approach and used this instant coffee. I know, instant coffee?
But it's good..
Ironically, I wasn't even in a hurry.

The label is all in Spanish. The only English words on the jar are "smooth roast", and I can understand that! Once you put the grounds into hot water, it foams on top.

Smooth, rich, fast. Sorry coffee maker.

*UPDATE* 3/14/11:
Forget Spanish Coffeez...the best way to wake up to is a fresh glass of orange juice, yogurt and fruit, underneath a heated blanket, watching an episode of The Office online, with a few hours to spare before class, followed by a hot shower. Ah, bliss.

My room smells like winter candy apple.

My kitchen smells like homemade chinese food.
My jacket smells like my dogs.
My hair smells like eucalyptus and white tea.
My wrists smells like cashmere jasmine.
My hands smell like white gardenia.
My pillows smell like apple mango tango.
My bathroom smells like mulled cider.
My shower smells like chlorine.

I never really think about it, but today I'm glad I can smell. And I need to wash my swimsuit.

Also, my sister got me this bracelet in Ireland for Christmas a few years ago, and I realized that I need to wear it more because it's special and it's pretty. I need to wear my bracelets in general...so, yeah. I like the background of the vintage-inspired pillow my mom and I made.

I love food, and I love talking about it too. Food and drank.

Also, have you seen Kelly Osbourne lately? What a doll. I used to not be able to stand the girl, but she has transformed herself into one well-rounded bad ass chick, and a cute pin-up one at that! I love her outfits and her 50's hair.
